USAF Veteran Katelyn Sheehan
Katelyn is an international adventure guide, wilderness emergency medicine instructor and Alaska glacial guide. Following an assault while in the U.S. Air Force training, Katelyn became a volunteer sexual assault victims’ advocate and was elected president of the Airman’s Council.
She continued her service through her full enlistment, including deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. She has continued to travel and advocate worldwide and understands firsthand the healing and empowerment that comes with outdoor recreation.
